Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, often referred to as a “nose job,” is a surgical procedure performed to alter the shape, size, or function of the nose. It can be done for cosmetic reasons (to improve appearance) or for medical reasons (to correct breathing issues or reconstruct the nose after trauma or injury).

The procedure typically involves reshaping the cartilage and bones in the nose. It can be done either through closed rhinoplasty, where all incisions are made inside the nose, or open rhinoplasty, where a small incision is made across the strip of skin between the nostrils (the columella).

The nose, positioned at the center of the face and shaping the overall appearance, is carefully analysed according to each individual’s unique facial features. We select the most suitable autologous cartilage to enhance their distinctive and natural beauty.

Nasal Proportions

Nose Length Adjustment

If the nose is too long, it can make the face appear older, and if it's too short, it can look awkward. Therefore, the length of the nose is corrected to match the vertical 1/3 balance of an individual's face.

Nasal Bridge Height Adjustment

The ideal height of the nose bridge is about one-third of the nose length. The height of the nose bridge is corrected while also considering the naso-labial angle where the nose column meets the lips.

Nasal Tip Angle Adjustment

The angle of the nose tip is corrected to align with the ideal angle (115–130º) from the forehead to the tip of the nose, as well as the nasolabial angle (95–105º) where the nose column meets the lips.
