Hair Transplant
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure used to treat hair loss by relocating healthy hair follicles from one part of the body (often the back or sides of the scalp) to areas that are thinning or bald. It’s commonly used to address male pattern baldness, female hair thinning, or hair loss due to trauma or medical conditions.
Using DHI (Direct Hair Implantation)
Similar to FUE, but with a slightly different technique, DHI uses a specialized pen-like tool to implant the hair follicles directly into the scalp without the need for prior channel creation (a step in FUE). The process is more precise and can result in better hair density and a more natural-looking result.
Benefits of Hair Transplant
Natural Looking Results
Since hair is taken from your own scalp, it grows naturally in the transplanted area and blends seamlessly with the existing hair.
Permanent Solution
Once transplanted, the new hair typically grows for a lifetime, making it a permanent solution to hair loss.
Minimal Maintenance
After the initial recovery period, transplanted hair requires little to no maintenance compared to other hair restoration methods like wigs or topical treatments.
Boost in Confidence
Many people report improved self-esteem and confidence after a successful hair transplant.
Suitable for those
✓ There’s still a good amount of healthy donor hair on the back or sides of the scalp. The donor area (usually the back of the head) must have dense, healthy follicles that can be transplanted successfully.
✓ The transplant can improve density and appearance, but won’t restore the hairline you had at 18. Multiple sessions may be needed for optimal density
✓ Men and women with pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia)
✓ Hair loss due to trauma or surgery
